Real-Time TSA - Dynamic Stress Management

VisEng's thermoelastic analysis determines the surface stress distribution in dynamically loaded structures and is particularly good for determining potential failure sites. The technique uses an extremely sensitive infra-red array camera which is capable of measuring minute temperature changes induced in the component during dynamic loading. The applications range from automotive, aerospace, composites, structures, contact stresses and other industrial applications.

Thermoelastic analysis is an essential technique to improve your design, prototyping and testing of a wide variety of components. It is the perfect partner to many important new technologies, including:

  •  Rapid Prototyping (evaluation of components produced by Rapid Prototyping)
  •  Finite Element Analysis (full-field verification of the accuracy of finite element models)
  •  Non Destructive Evaluation (used for thermal NDE)
